Oh my gosh I feel the same way! I just can’t get enough of the songs he sung! and I do belt this one out (not just in the car) I even do the little dance that he does! oh I love DC!
cook obviously felt that there is an important message in this song’s lyrics, and wanted to sing this very much. that’s what we all do when we love a song: we want to ‘give,” it to another person. this is just such a song. when i hear the world i know (which thankfully is usually in my car,) i just belt it out.
He was so emotional during this performance of his life.

i know! im trying to get used to season 8 but i guess i just miss everybody from season 7 too much lol. idk if season 7 could ever be topped
I totally agree!!! Hands down miss season 7 more than anything. Season 8 has been such a disappointment compared to all of the amazing moments in 7. Dont get me wrong there are a few great prospects….but nothing like last year. Nothing will ever beat last year…..nothing will ever beat david cook!
I miss season 7 and David Cook too-love this song! He deserved to win, complete package! I just spent the last few hours watching all of David for AI7-almost done. He is so truely talented, just amazing. I love that Simon eats his words the next day!

You need to get over it and might as well admit that Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson were David Archuleta fans. I was glad that America got to vote and not the judges because they would have voted a pop artist the winner again if they were allowed to. Plus, how many pop singers from American Idol have made it huge besides Clay Aiken and Kelly Clarkson? You can say Jordin Sparks too, but the media hates her for being an open virgin.
